What to put on a hardware quotation
- Model code or size with each item: "Hinges, steel 4 inch", "Drawer channel 18 inch". Contractors compare by size.
- Brand and finish where it matters: SS, brass, black, rose gold.
- Unit: pieces, pairs for drawer channels, sets for handles.

- Validity, delivery and payment terms.
Terms that save arguments later
- Prices valid for 15 days, or until stock lasts.
- Delivery to site extra, or included up to a distance.
- Fixing and labour not included unless written.
- Returns only in original packing within 7 days.
